My Muse

In Greek mythology there were nine muses. Three of them were deticated to poetry. Calliope was for Epic Poetry which has now turned into today's general writing. Erato for lyric Poetry, that has become is today's prose. Lastly, Polyhymnia for Choral Poetry, things like hymns or songs fall in this catagory. So I am tapping into my muses, Calliope, Erato, and Polyhymnia; and giving you my soul.

A slightly Different Song...

Well I am posting a different type of blog here today. I was drawn to my camera this afternoon to take pictures of the outside world. Not that I think I have any spectacular skills in photography but nature tends to speak for its self. So no words from my mind or music to my muses today, just art for the soul, fresh from the world around us! they look like they are kissing to me,,,, the one lone blue flower in a sea of daffodils.
have you ever noticed what side of the tree ivy grows on? it seems to choose one side before the other.

the twisted tree in my neighbor's yard, it is so intriguingly breathtaking.

weeping cherry.

the twisted tree again, i played with the photoshop to create this picture.
plum tree.

i personally love forsythia. it just makes me smile.

it may be a weed but it is still around in the spring!!!

I decided to end this odd little post with my favorite shot of the day. I have no idea why this shot is my favorite. in fact it doesn't focus on anything. none the less it is the most interesting to me.

so happy spring everyone!!!

until the fates let us,
Ali
